Industry Certifications
Wherever possible, the institution seeks to include relevant, industry recognized certifications as part of course content and completion requirements. This enables a student to graduate with a degree or diploma plus relevant industry and educational certifications, attesting to the knowledge and skills acquired at while in attendance at ICT/ILS. This additional feature of our training programs gives our graduates a definite advantage in the job market – now and in the future.
Below are listings of the certifications that are currently included in the various programs offered at ICT/ILS.
Business Programs
Including both Degree and Diploma programs in Business Information Management, Automated Accounting, and Administrative Support Systems.
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) – All locations
The student may qualify as a Specialist, Expert, or Master, depending on the number of certifications earned.

HVAC – Chamblee Only
EPA Certification in accordance with section 608 of the Clean Air Act for the Recovery and Recycling of Refrigerants. The certification is required for all technicians that work in the HVAC/R field.

National Technical Honor Society
In addition to the above, students attending the Main Campus of Interactive College of Technology in Chamblee may qualify for acceptance into the National Technical Honor Society – a distinction bestowed on those students that excel in classroom performance and service to the institution.

Recently, I interviewed with a local computer networking firm. I found two things to be very interesting during the interview. First, I did not apply for this position.
